Inexperienced handling of electricity is one of the most common causes of injury and death in the construction industry. This course focuses on hazard identification, prevention, and control measures to keep you safe. We will cover how electricity works, what determines the severity of the hazard, and the effects of electricity on the human body.
You will also learn the major types of life-threatening electrical injuries, wire and cable safety, the safe use of power tools, how to use personal protective equipment, and other electrical-related safe work practices.
