OSHA's 30-hour construction training is designed for supervisors and workers with some safety responsibilities. This training benefits a variety of workers in New York, including those in construction, building development, and other related fields.

NYC Construction Supervisors can meet the 62-hour Training Requirement (SST) online with our DOB-approved SST courses. After completing your mandatory training, you can apply for your SST supervisor card.

This course focuses on hazard identification, prevention, and control measures to keep you safe. We will cover how electricity works, what determines the severity of the hazard, and the effects of electricity on the human body.
They will learn terminology, symbols, pictures and how to identify and interpret their meaning on plans. We focus on light and heavy commercial and residential projects. Upon completion, students will receive their blueprint reading certification.
Participants will learn the basics of respirable crystalline silica dust that can be found in construction. We identify the basic health hazards associated with potential exposure.
This course focuses on the identification of hazards, prevention and control measures to avoid accidents in the handling of Boilers of different characteristics. We will cover how boilers work and their inherent dangers.
